Mesolithic Miscellany was first set up in 1980 by T. Douglas Price, University of Wisconsin. It was a newsletter, published twice a year, that aimed to include virtually any information of relevance to the European Mesolithic.
The project to scan the entire run of Mesolithic Miscellany was generously funded by the Department of Archaeology, University of York and could not have been completed without the active and enthusiastic involvement of the Archaeology Data Service.
In 2006 Mesolithic Miscellany was recreated as a free internet newsletter. It is produced twice a year as an informal communication among individuals interested in the European Mesolithic and is available from http://www.york.ac.uk/depts/arch/Mesolithic/index.htm.
The papers available here in digital form, and any copyright images within them, remain the copyright of their authors, Mesolithic Miscellany and any other copyright holder. They may be downloaded for research and teaching purposes but must not be resold or made available on any other web site or on any other medium with or without charge, unless with the prior written consent of the current editor and the relevant copyright holders.
The Mesolithic working party has made reasonable efforts to alert copyright holders to our intention to mount these files on the web; anyone with concerns about their material being reproduced here should contact the depositor Nicky Milner.
