Abstract Report on the rapid excavation of four cremation burials in 2015 following their discovery by a metal detectorist as pottery and burnt bone scatters in the ploughsoil. Two more complete burials were found an the open plough furrow. This account provides the excavation records - plans, sections, contexts, photos for the 2015 event. The burials, including details of cremated bone, pottery and copper-alloy brooch, were included in the overall site analysis in 2022.
