Abstract This Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) has been prepared by Royal HaskoningDHV on behalf of DONG Energy. The document sets out the requirements for archaeological strip, map and record and watching brief at/during the main construction works associated with the onshore electrical cable route for Hornsea Project One. This WSI has been designed in consultation with the Heritage Steering Group (HSG) in order to mitigate the impacts of the proposed onshore electrical connection works on known and potential archaeological remains via preservation by record at selected sites along the onshore cable route. The HSG includes the Archaeological Advisors for Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) (responsible for East and West Lindsey), North East Lincolnshire Council (NELC) and North Lincolnshire Council (NLC).
