Abstract | This document is a Written Scheme of Investigation (WSI) for the historic building recording of structural remains associated with the WWII airfield at North Killingholme in advance of their demolition as part of the Hornsea Project One development. The structure is located within the onshore order limits for Hornsea Project One. The project was granted a Development Consent Order (DCO) on 10th December 2014. This WSI has been designed in consultation with the Archaeological Advisor to North Lincolnshire Council (NLC) in order to mitigate the impacts of the proposed demolition works through 'preservation by record'. |
