Context Number: 2057
Description: Gravel surface similar to those in Rooms 5 and 6.
Notes:Possibly contemporary with late phase of building 1 and floor slump 1498. Context has been completely removed.
Composition: dark to mid grey, friable, sandy clay containing 5-15% flint gravel sub-round and 2-6cm and 5-15% sub-round flint gravel of 6-20mm. Excavated in dry hot and sunny conditions.
