Notes:Second course of flint wall (top course =1018). 4951 represents a repair (?) at its northern end. One sandstone block was included amongst the flints approximately mid-way along the wall - it was kept as a find. Strat below 1018 and 4591. Strat above (4606). Completely removed in 2003. Plan no: 10.91, 15.127 Section no: 423 Mortar sample: 714 Accuracy rating - 4
Composition: Rough hewn, knapped flints measuring up to 0.3m in length forming a linear wall orientated NE-SW Bonded by a sandy loam (degraded mortar) Extent: 8.4m x 0.5m
