General Comments:

Hantergantick quarry was first worked in 1918 by a local man named Harry May. He began by producing gravestones and crosses and expanded to include larger projects such as the harbour walls at Padstow and Port Issac (South Penquite n.d.). The quarry is currently disused and filled with water.

Known Quarries: Hantergantick Quarry, Bodmin Moor.
