General Colour Description:

Two types are sold today: Catcastle 'Buff' a creamy/buff coloured stone with darker specks, and Catcastle 'Grey' a brown/grey variegated sandstone with flecks of orange and occasional large glassy grains (up to 10mm across).

Hand Specimen Description:

A medium to coarse grained, hard, granular sandstone which is moderately well sorted with a hackly fracture.
