General Colour Description:

A cream coloured stone which can vary from grey to buff.

Hand Specimen Description:

A fine grained, hard, compact dolomitic limestone which is well sorted with a smooth feel. It has a dense interlocking texture of fine grained dolomite crystals and there are some narrow veins infilled by coarse sparry calcite cystals. The iron oxide content is very low (Hart 1988: 10).
