General Colour Description:

A white/cream to greenish-grey colour after exposure to the elements.

Hand Specimen Description:

A fine grained, hard, moderately well sorted, oolitic limestone with a rough feel. It is similar to Chilmark stone, but less glauconitic (and less green in colour) and does not have the distinct banding or laminations characteristic of Chilmark stone (Tatton-Brown 1998: 41).
