Overview

UAV Survey, Hulk Recording and Geoarchaeological Auger Survey, Boston Barrier, Boston, Lincolnshire (OASIS ID: wessexar1-300676)

The reporting collection of the Boston Barrier UAV Survey, Hulk Recording and Geoarchaeological Auger Survey includes the written scheme of investigation and project report. The digital data collection includes the project GIS shapefiles with supporting documentation, a spreadsheet of the UAV survey transcribed features and georeferenced images created from the UAV photography of the two foreshore Hulks 5 and 6.

In addition, there is a spreadsheet comprising the hand auger survey and deposit modelling data collected during the geoarchaeological auger survey. Also included in the project collection are the site digital photographs from the ground truthing of the UAV interpreted features during the auger survey. The results of the project and the recommendations for future work are presented in the final project report submitted to OASIS, under ID: wessexar1-300676 and the ADS grey literature library.

A printed copy of the report, photograph contact sheets, photo register and digital photograph CD to be archived with The Collection, Lincolnshire under accession no: LCNCC: 2017.206. There is no finds or environmental material archive associated with the Boston Barrier project.
