Artefact no W44 , Kennet Gravels. Flake with worked point
Icklingham, Suffolk
Artefact no W45 , Found beside old excavations at Warren Hill Lodge - midway between Icklingham and Barton Mills. Large bulbous flake - unabraded, slightly patinated - secondary working on one edge.
Lambourn Downs, nr. Sparsholt, Oxfordshire
Artefact no W46 , Rough core - ochreous semi-marbled flint, part of white crust of nodule remaining., (discarded Feb/58)
Several very crude flakes on the downside in the ploughed fields. One very intractable piece of translucent flint worked on 3 sides as if to a point for hafting, but discarded as unsuitable.
