Batten<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>It\u2019s a busy few months on the <a href=\"http:\/\/archaeologydataservice.ac.uk\/blog\/oasis\/?p=247\">HERALD project<\/a>. In March the final project design was agreed and work commenced almost immediately on the first major milestone: the creation of the <a href=\"http:\/\/archaeologydataservice.ac.uk\/blog\/oasis\/?p=322\">ADS Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s been considerable interest in what is happening next, so we thought it would be a good idea to circulate the <a href=\"http:\/\/archaeologydataservice.ac.uk\/blog\/oasis\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/HERALD_stage_2_project_design_Final_no_financials.pdf\">HERALD Stage 2 Project Design<\/a>, so that people can see what has changed since we circulated the draft design <a href=\"http:\/\/archaeologydataservice.ac.uk\/blog\/oasis\/?p=278\">last October<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Broadly speaking the timetable for the redevelopment project is as follows:<br \/>\n1. BIAB search interface and data entry interface \u2013 Autumn 2016.<br \/>\n2. Agreement of final functional specification for OASIS &#8211; Jan 2017.<br \/>\n3. Main OASIS form created &#8211; Winter 2017.<br \/>\n4. OASIS PLUS modules created &#8211; Spring 2018.<br \/>\n5. First testing release (ALPHA) &#8211; Summer 2018.<br \/>\n6.
