The data in the EnvironmentalSamples.csv file represents the site and environmental department processing register. The quantifications of ecofacts given was used to determine samples that should be provided to the specialists for assessment. These quantifications are therefore superceded by any values given in the specialist reports. Samples may also have been used by specialisms other than those in the field SamplePurpose and this can be detected in the allsamples.shp shape file (SpatialData folder) where a single analysed sample may have multiple specialism values. For the included tabular specialist data (Marine Shell and Plant Microfossils) please see the relevant specilaist report in "The Archaeology of East Kent Access (Phase II) Volume 2: The Finds, Environmental and Dating Reports", Andrews, Booth, Fitzpatrick and Welsh, Oxford Wessex Archaeology No 8, 2015.
