Originally dug thinking it a part of {90554] and possibly [90244] tree bowls? Which is still possible though the profile was more steep-sided and was a fairly neat oval in plan - more pit like. Hopefully a clearer picture post results from extensive sampling of all fills ( good luck Fraser). The largest fill (904830 very homogenous clean clay, contained very few flints was definitely sealed by (90442). It is possible this cut was formedby bioturbation with the fills being derived from natural silting processes. If ti was a pit it was sealed by (904420 - fill of a tree throw with no root disturbance, or it was a continuation of the tree throw, perhaps a large tap root.
