Abstract:		 Article on the excavation of a stone-walled hut circle near the township of Ord in the parish of Sleat by Dualchasc (Skye and Lochalsh Museums Service) and Manchester University, Department of Archaeology. Both the setting of the hut circle, including the geology of the locality, and the findings of the excavation are described. The excavation identified only one period of settlement activity, considered to very probably be of the early first millennium AD; an addendum notes that a radiocarbon determination with a mean date of 469 BC was later obtained.
