Abstract:
Reports on the selective re-excavation of the site of the `Temple of Nodens' (located within an Iron Age hillfort). The results are thought to confirm a revised chronology that was proposed following a theoretical re-examination of evidence (particularly the coins) as published by the original excavator (R E M Wheeler). `The pottery' is discussed by J N Dore (131--42).
