Abstract:
Reports the excavation of a richly furnished Early Bronze Age burial at Boscombe Down, near Amesbury, Wiltshire. The human remains were of a man approximately 35--50 years old, situated within a timber mortuary chamber. Finds include two `bracers', a bone pin, three small copper knifes, five Beakers, an antler spatula, boar's tusks, some worked flints (including arrowheads, knives and scrapers), two gold `basket earrings' and a nodule of iron.
