SO 211192. Brief summary of excavations which showed that the known chamber was one of three lateral chambers which, together with a fourth chamber or cist, were set into a trapezoid cairn of the Severn-Cotswolds tradition. The overall design was probably unitary, however. Two timber structures lay under the monument, one in the forecourt, the other below the north horn. Temporary and final blocking arrangements were also elucidated. | |||
