Two skeletons from the bog bring the total of Early Neo bog burials in Denmark to 18, eight of whom were 16-20 years old at death. This finding, together with the frequent finding of bodies with a rope around the neck, suggests a continuous cult of human sacrifice from 3500-200 BC. One of the recent finds was of a severely disabled person who must have depended on others for support. | |||
