Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Reports on an integrated topographical, magnetic, and resistivity survey of the deeply stratified mound that includes a broch. Experience of similar sites demonstrated the value of integrating both magnetic and resistivity data sets. Increased resistance probe separation, enabling greater resolution at depth, and the use of resistivity pseudosections provided greater detail of the buried archaeology. The integrated approach allowed excavations to be targeted to address specific questions on the development of the settlement mound. | ||
