Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Describes the recent identification in Kent of what is claimed to be a late Neolithic henge monument, possibly only the second demonstrable example in south-east England. An evaluation of the site was undertaken by the Kent Archaeological Field School following the discovery of flint tools by a farmer in Hollingbourne, near Maidstone. A fuller investigation, to include geophysical survey, is planned for next year. LD | |||||
