Various separately authored articles which discuss the calibration of radiocarbon dates through comparison with marine varves, dendrochronology or coral samples. Reports that a new calibration curve (INTCAL98) covers the time from the present back to 13,635 cal BC (15,585 cal BP), and that paired 14C/U-series datapoints taken from corals have provided comparison data back as far as 24,000 cal BP, although this is at low resolution. | ||
