Results of a resistivity survey of a field to the south of Odda's Chapel. A number of known features were identified, such as field drains, paths and a former pond. An area of lower resistance corresponded with a triangular structure shown on an Ordnance Survey map from 1883, and a group of linear features in the north west corner of the field corresponded with boundaries on the same map. The survey also showed a rough semi-circle of low resistance in the same area, and a group of linear features in the north east of the field which could indicate former buildings predating the drainage ditch which cuts across them. Other areas of low resistance were identified as possible paths or boundaries. | |||||||||
