Summarizes the results of observations and excavations along 1.3km of pipeline construction. Two RB sites were discovered, one represented by a single ditch, the other (at Bredon Fields) represented by a complex of rectilinear enclosure boundaries indicating the presence of a rural settlement occupied during the second--fourth centuries AD. There is `A note on the pottery from Bredon Fields' by Annette Hancocks (74--5) and a `Note on a dish of Purbeck marble' by Fiona Roe (75--6). | ||||||
