The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The site lies within the northern extent of the Roman town, but outside the medieval suburbs. The best-preserved Roman deposits lay in the south-eastern corner of the excavation. The corner of a boundary ditch was located, together with structural evidence. Further ditches were located, as well as a small pit and further postholes. Investigation between the cellars on Castle Street produced the largest quantity of artefacts, although a restricted area was excavated. Other fieldwork during the construction programme located scattered Roman remains over the remainder of the site, including burnt features as well as drains. There was also a very small assemblage of abraded medieval pottery, reflecting the agricultural use of the area. Includes three separately authored reports on:
