Sites include: an east-west aligned wall that could be the remains of a tower or north-south enclosing wall of Cope's early Tudor house at Hanwell Castle; a large defensive ditch possibly associated with the 12th century siege castle thought to survive in the area of Crowmarsh; middle Iron Age to late Roman settlement at Great Western Park, Didcot; sparse remains of Bicester priory church surviving within the area of Bryan House; Roman features and a burial at 11 Wittenham Lane, Dorchester-on-Thames; late Saxon and Saxo-Norman pottery at the Four Pillars Hotel, Sandford; early stone foundations associated with St Peter's Church, Hook Norton; and a small Romano-British villa at the former Chilton Fields airbase. Smaller investigations included: discovery of an 8th century ditch during excavations in Queen Street, a series of Iron Age ditches and possible ring ditch at Crouch Hill, and several Bronze Age enclosures at Caversham Quarry.
