The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Excavation in 1980 of a rectangular enclosure (2nd or 1st century BC - AD 50) in open grassland, with internal ditches, pits and one or two round houses. Cloth production was evidenced. By c AD 50 the enclosure ditch was silting up, though domestic activity may have continued. By 2nd century the domestic focus had moved elsewhere; a large shallow depression may represent a crew-yard for over-wintering stock. After a period of disuse an ?open-ended shed occupied the site from early 4th century. Particular attention is paid to the faunal evidence which shows some marked shifts of emphasis on this fen-edge site. Some speculation on tenurial arrangements is possible. F B/Ed
