Abstract:
Documents archaeological work which revealed multi-period activity on the site. A large pit and two linear gullies containing substantial amount of Roman pottery were located. Various medieval and post-medieval pits were found, many of which were rubbish pits which included a range of pottery and a large amount of clay pipes. Some of the pits were stone lined and one was timber lined.
