Abstract:
See abstract 68/066 for details of excavation. Detailed statistical analysis of the small sample (ten individuals) would be unprofitable, but the skull types would fit better into an Iron Age than an EBA context. The dental evidence might possibly suggest a family relationship between some of the individuals, but again the sample is too small for certainty. Osteoarthritis is the most noteworthy pathological condition present, and a list is given of other early Irish and English skeletal material showing arthritic changes.
