One of a group of early to middle Neo settlements yielded abundant carbonized remains of cereals (Triticum dicoccum, T monococcum, Hordeum sp var nudum) and also of rosaceous fruits, Corylus nutshells, and unidentified roots and tubers indicating a substantial reliance on wild plant foodstuffs. There was also some crop-cleaning waste. This is the first site in E England to produce data sufficient to discuss a Neo plant economy. Au (abr) | ||||
