Abstract:		 Reports that excavations and geophysical survey around Caravat Barp long cairn have revealed evidence for Neo settlement, and enclosures of BA and IA periods. Palynological and macrofossil studies were undertaken. Specialist reports include: `Pottery' discussed by I Armit (370--2); `Flint' by Bill Finlayson (375); `Charred plant remains' by Sheila Boardman (375--6); charcoal; `Microfossil analysis' by Coralie Mills 376--8).
