Abstract:
Reports the sectioning of 253 implements, 172 of which were assignable to established groups. Tools are exceptionally plentiful on the Carboniferous Limestone of the Peak, but early axe-groups are rare throughout the two counties. Half the groupable tools were of Group VI, 15% of Group VII. Group XX's source lies within the survey area but no new information on it arises.
