The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 TQ 653806. The enclosure consisted of three incomplete circuits of discontinuous ditch with an associated timber palisade slot lying inside and concentric to the middle ditch; thus both 'native' and 'Continental' styles are present. An oval posthole structure of contemporary date lay within. Quantities of Mildenhall style pottery and flint artefacts of mid 3rd millennium bc were recovered from primary ditch silts etc, and some Late Neo/EBA wares came from the secondary ditch silts and the interior. Later phases were represented by EIA occupation, a Middle Iron Age enclosure and (to be reported) Saxon ring-ditch burials. Specialist contributions are included: flints, pottery stone, a few metal pieces, environmental evidence, 14C dates, slags and sediments. Au(adp)
