Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report |
Report on a hut floor which appears slightly trapezoidal, although this may be the result of a slight `bowing out' when the building was complete rather than deliberate design. It is thirty feet long, an exceptional length for a British example, which allows for the theory that it may represent a succession of two smaller huts. The concomitant flint assemblage contained Mesolithic and Neolithic examples including, from the latter period, petit--tranchet derivative arrowhead types, typical of the Secondary Neolithic culture. | |||||||
