Abstract:		 Rescue excavation and a watching brief at the secondary school revealed traces of late Iron Age/RB occupation to 4th century AD. Principal features were cremation burials, ditches, walls, and pits, discussed in their local context. Specialist finds reports: pottery, metalwork and coins, a little environmental evidence, archaeomagnetic date for kiln in Buckenhams Field. Au(amp)
