Reports on the discovery and excavation of a series of timber structures that were found beneath later floodplain deposits. A Bronze Age date is suggested on the basis of tool-marks and a rapier find. A possible boat fragment was also found. The structures appear to have been jetties, although a range of other possible functions is considered. | |||
