Discusses the remains of a series of brick clamps discovered in the London Borough of Lewisham and excavated in 1996. Documentary research and map regression work revealed a long history of brick and tile production at New Cross, and the clamps are thought to fit the pattern emerging in the Netherlands and Britain.
