Abstract:
Discusses two late-thirteenth-century wall-paintings in the north transept, which are thought to have formed a much larger decorative scheme that included fifteenth-century paintings in the nave. Although recorded in 1870--71, these paintings have been concealed or perhaps destroyed, but two illustrations have survived.
