The EU Set Aside scheme has allowed the author to cease farming his land and to carry out a range of archaeological investigations in a landscape which is rich in Bronze Age and Neolithic monuments, of both ritual and domestic nature. A middle Bronze Age cemetery, a small late Neolithic pit circle henge and a range of pits, post circles and part of the Dorset cursus have all been excavated. A short review of the author's private museum concludes the article. | |||||||||||||||
