Preliminary report on the large-scale excavation of a Romano-British small town, near Maldon in Essex. Whilst little seems to be known about the economic nature of this settlement, a Roman temple complex was discovered, together with elements of the street plan and a series of cremations. BA, LIA and Saxon occupation of the area have also been noted. | ||||||||
