Reports on a DNH initiative, the Built Heritage Pairing Scheme, which is aimed at encouraging business sponsorship of conservation works (see also 96/306). The scheme is managed by the Association for the Business Sponsorship of the Arts, and a one-year pilot project has been running in the north of England (Cleveland, Cheshire, Cumbria, Durham, High Peak, Humberside, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, and Yorkshire).
