Abstract:		 Short report on archaeological works carried out at Stoney Littleton long barrow as part of a wider programme of repair and conservation following deterioration to the internal gallery and chambers; a number of antiquarian and more recent investigations of the long barrow had previously taken place. The works included the excavation of three trenches, geophysical and auger surveys, a watching brief during conservation works and the recording of several internal elevations. The works provided some further evidence as to the structural make-up of the mound, including indications of a possible pit row extending eastwards from the eastern corner of the barrow.
