Abstract:		 Reports on the 1996 excavations and discusses the nature of settlement at the site -- notably whether or not three clearly identified phases between the Late Bronze Age and Late Romano-British periods indicate continuous occupation. A number of burials of all ages and both sexes were unearthed in what appears to be the cemetery of the small farming community. Indications that the graves were clearly marked and maintained include evidence that two individuals were buried in the same grave at apparently different points in time with no re-cutting.
