Interprets plough-levelled archaeological features observed on aerial photographs of an area north-east of Beckhampton shrunken medieval village and contained within the Avebury World Heritage Site. The area, which was threatened by a sewage improvement scheme, contained thirteen barrows, medieval lynchets and other features. All available oblique and vertical photographs were consulted, and documentary evidence is discussed. The concordance of records for each barrow is presented. | |||||||
