Abstract:		 Practical suggestions are made for numerous county research projects. These include addenda to existing corpora (for example Beakers); a 14C-dating programme; research into the earliest human interference with the natural landscape, and into the Mesolithic-Neolithic succession; use of refined techniques to recover fuller settlement plans; testing causewayed camps for evidence of function. The henges that remain should be completely preserved for their (invisible) internal features. Palaeoecological opportunities provided by barrow mounds should be explored, flint industries need fuller study, pottery needs petrological analysis and many more grain impressions could be found. New Deverel-Rimbury sites should be looked for, their relations with preceding and succeeding cultures explored, and new LBA settlements identified.
