Abstract:
Report on trenches dug through two ploughed-down bank-and-ditch earthworks of Late Iron Age date. Occupation continued in the vicinity until at least Late Roman times, followed by pasture and ploughing. Settlement features include postholes, pits, ditches, and roads, and finds include a comprehensive pottery series. Specialist reports are included on pottery, stone petrology, and the wider Wessex Iron Age context of territorial boundaries and oppida. Au(abr)
