Catalogue and analysis of an unusually large quantity of pottery (659 sherds, or 20245G, or 20.32 estimated vessel equivalents) from the backfill of a large quarry pit at the bottom of an excavation at ll Ironmonger Lane. The pottery can be dated to the middle of the second century AD, and includes some unusual elements, including black-burnished-type jars in Highgate `C' ware; a substantial number of lids in a range of fabrics; and some individual vessels of intrinsic interest.
