Reports the discovery via metal detector, of twenty-eight coins, mostly Long Cross pennies and cut half pennies dating from the reign of Henry III (1216--72), which was not declared Treasure Trove on the basis that they appear to have been the contents of a small purse that was simply lost. There was also a Henry V penny, not thought to be part of the hoard. | |||||
