SN 81138768. Two specimens from a hoard of about a dozen barbed-and-tanged arrowheads of Breton type, dispersed at the time of discovery, were recovered for examination. The find-spot is now concealed by rainwashed peat, but a new search yielded an unworked flake of the same kind of flint as the arrowheads. The deposit could be of votive origin, as could that from Bugeilyn not far away. The arrowheads, ogival in shape with drooping barbs longer than the tang, are rare in Wales but generally have a Beaker horizon in England. | ||||
